Last year he had Oladipo and Domantas Sabonis who currently have a 1-0 lead as Indiana Pacers over Cleveland Cavaliers. That OKC team was horrendous. What player on Indiana comes even close to Westbrook talent wise? Westbrook is a great stat padder not a great winner.

I don't like Westbrook, but he's averaged a triple double the past 2 seasons. How is that a ball hog?

Ask Victor Oladipo. Hell, ask Kevin Durant.

Westbrook takes more crap shots than any player in the league, and the OKC offense often becomes "you 4 guys go stand there while Russ plays hero". It's really not all that hard to rack up big assist totals if you're a good player and you have the ball in your hand more than everyone else on your team combined.

And oh yeah, Russ doesn't try particularly hard on defense. Has to save some energy for his assault on the stat-sheet.

Westbrook is a monster talent with a monster ego. Wouldn't want to coach him, would have trouble playing with him.
