This isn’t the only game has been starting.Brice Matthews has started a game or two at left field They want to make Matthews an outfielder instead of playing in the infield.

Jake was removed from the game in the second inning due to lower back tightness, he tweaked something during check swing.

Had to leave the last year in June/July for the same thing I believe.

Pretty sure Jake's the son of former NU center fielder (All American), and later NU athletic fund raiser Paul Meyers. He was drated by the Giants I think ?

I coached Paul in baseball (in Omaha) when he was about 10 to maybe 13 in the early 80's. Paul had a younger sister as I recall. Jake was later born in the late 90's
