Kid is smooth, smart, and totally unafraid to be on the spot. We have our next Collins bedrock point guard.

His emergence has definitely been a silver lining this late in a difficult season. He has gotten used to the Big Ten game quicker than most. Very impressive 👍

Jake West might be the perfect storm we've never had at Northwestern.
A game good enough to piss off other teams' fanbases
AND
A social media presence big enough to piss off other teams' fanbases.

If we make the tournament during his run + his 1.6 million Westies on TikTok .......

I'm reviving this thread to discuss my beyond-rational levels of certainty that if we get four reasonably healthy years in purple out of this kid we are going dancing at least once. He just has it, he has that thing that is the absolute key secret ingredient in all the Collins teams that dance. It's not just one ingredient either, he has that right spice mix, that perfect Masala/Adobo/Za'atar/Five-Spice mix that we just simply require and makes everything work.

A star shooting guard (easier said than done) and a decent traditional center who can allow Page and Kropp to play more 4 than 5 and I think we roll.
