May be the next big thing. Win or lose this game today doesnt matter to me to much as the turnaround he has spurred from last year is amazing. Dont know if Mark Pope makes it or not but if we lose this game today hopefully someone with the UK program starts laying the groundwork to potentially bringing him back to UK.

If he makes a final 4 this year. Yes. And then is consistent with good wins, good recruiting and consistent 1-3 wins in the NCAA tournament wins for the next 4-5 years. yes.
He is definitely one to keep an eye on and seems like that next young coach that has big time written all over him.
Some UK fans know ball, Lucas and Shertz name were brought up on this board at Christmas time as being big names in the future.
Curious how he felt about his time in Lexington. If things don’t workout with Pope in a couple years would be nice to have someone familiar with the program a little bit.
