I believe NU offered the ESPN top-50/Rivals top-100 player last year, and some services still had him connected to NU. But it was fairly obvious NU hasn't been in play for awhile.

Yesterday, he chose to be one of Jon Scheyer's guinea pigs next year at Duke.

Apparently being recruited over at Duke already for 5 stars (who could have seen this coming?!). Any chance he'd be interested in transferring closer to home?

There are two guys we went after him and the guy at Gonzaga who redshirted. Can't remember his name but both would be potentially solid additions in the future
