I hear....
He is the worst shooter in practice
Gets locked down defensively by Downes
Is 1 Star. There are 2 Jacob young’s and we got the 1 Star.
Not good enough for the scout team

I saw that during the game.
Was not surprised.

Young always shows great spirit and enthusiasm for the team even though he can’t play yet.

A real leader.
Can’t wait to see him do some of that leading on the court next season!

And I also noticed how hard Geo was on himself after the game.

He really wants to play great and help the team win, and I’m sure he felt like he let the team down.

That’s what was so great about Young’s actions - helping to pick up a young teammate.

Hope Geo bounces back strong on Saturday.

We were talking about what a good teammate he is in another thread from a couple of days ago. Like I said then, if he's half the player on the court as he is on the sidelines, we're in for a treat. I'll never get tired of seeing this.

I have attended 11 practices and Jacob is always so polite and nice. He seems like a real team player. It has to be very tough on him being on the scout team every single day. I have seen him hit many 3's and is by far the fastest guy on the team. His hands are really good on defense. I just hope and pray that he can be as good when the lights go on next year. Nigel Johnson lit up practices but never became the star that many were expecting. I am pretty sure Jacob will really help us.

And, BTW #3 was a jerk the whole game. Did you notice the bump he gave Gio? During foul shots , he was always behind chirping also. He is a very fast and good player but that does not take away he also shows real bad sportsmanship.

I noticed that also.

Simpson

Right before our guys took a foul shot, he walked towards them from behind and yelled out, “Box out! Box out!”

It was obviously meant to distract our guys.

I thought what a jerk - bad sportsmanship.
You never see anyone do that in college.

I might otherwise root for MI, but can’t with that punk.
