I think Jacob will always be a giveth (steals, eye-popping drives) and taketh away (fouls, forced action, turnovers) player. Can only hope the percentages move in the right direction.

His defense yesterday was outstanding. I only remember one forced turnover, so i must be forgetting one because the article said he had two steals. But the UMass guards were clearly uncomfortable any time he was in the game and pressuring the ball.

I love that Young looks like he’s having fun getting after it in the defensive end. If you watch his expressions, he was so locked in yesterday but with a big smile on his face. I think it’s obvious he takes pride in his ability to frustrate other guards.

now he just has to progress on the offensive end but it looks like that is starting to happen.

He looked like he had fun playing tight coverage.

I liked Jacob's contribution yesterday. He is definitely an elite athlete who can pressure just about any guard. Hopefully he can get more in sync on offense.
