Good to see him working his handle because it was weak last year. He had surprisingly nice catch and shoot game though, especially off curls. In fact he was probably the best we had at it.

He and brooks are both athletic and talented by opposites. Brooks has a great handle, struggling J, and is physical. Toppin is basically the opposite.

Either or both those guy could take major strides this year and I believe they will

Brooks better bring it or Brooks could be seeing more bench time than he wants. Toppin impressed me last season for a freshman. You can see the talent in him.
I see them playing together with Toppin at the 5. We'd be deadly in transition.

Yeah, really, bro. Literally the first time I’ve ever heard someone ***** in regards to us joking about the infamous RR lingo. Kinda weird actually. I wonder if he was the one that initially said it. 🤔

🤣
I’m thinking he’s fallen for it numerous times and is mad at himself for being so got damn stupid so he is taking it out on us. Just a guess? Ha.

Competition at all 5 spots should produce a formidable starting 5.
Really interested in seeing how competitive Collins is in first pick up games and seeing how much 5 months of intense competition, weight training and diet have on his game.

Toppin will/should never play the 5. We wouldn’t get a single rebound.
I respectfully disagree. You'll see them play together at times with three guards and we'll be fine on the glass. I'd say Ty Ty and Grady will crash the boards when we play small as well. If any of our bigs aren't rebounding they'll be on the bench.

I like Toppin a lot, especially when he plays within himself and lets the game come to him.
He's not good when he forces things. He has enough natural ability that he doesn't need to do it.
Exactly right, good post. I believe with all these solid guards that our bigs/forwards will thrive this season. Especially since all but Wheeler can really shoot the ball well. I think they’ll all be able to make plays for others as well.

Once Toppin brings it all together, he’s going to be scary good. We saw flashes of that last season, like you said. I think he’ll flourish this season, especially having all those shooters around him to open up the floor.

I really hope we play a “fast paste”. He would be a terror in transition. Really needs to keep working on his handle.
We gonna go full fast paste! Tubby will be proud.
