Well looks like we are probably going to get what most kinda of expected all along. A showdown for the conference title between the Rams and Cardinals. Should be a classic. Finally the Rams will face a team that they will not be overwhelmingly the biggest, fastest, most athletic team on the field. They will face a squad with athletes just as good as they are. We will finally get to see two great football teams go at it for all the marbles. Who do you have?

Where is the game being played? For me that could be the deciding factor. Havelock better have someone bird dogging Boone on every play. He is capable of breaking every play. Dude is really fast.

Boone is gone graduated...however Benton the new QB just as fast and might be a step faster. But here is the problem stack the box and Benton can throw the ball. We got three awesome receivers. Then here is the other problem we got not 1 not 2 but 3 RB who get a little daylight and they are off to the races. Defense is big fast and aggressive and have been getting after folks and will pay some wood. So it should be the most competitive game that Havelock will get from the Cards in a long time.

Heck I was thinking Boone was still there but I forgot he was in the East - West Senior game last year. You would think I could remember that since I went to it.

Jacksonville wants respect, they've already got it from me, but they can really open some eyes by beating Havelock. I think itll be a pretty close game.

Well since Ima havelock fan Ima pull for my team but this game can go either way this game gonna have the most athletes on the field since the mallard creek vs Scotland and Shelby vs south pointe game

I think havelock takes this one 28-27 score may be higher since both teams can take it to the house on any giving play but I like havelock defense a little more than jvilles right now

Otis not really looking past them but Cards should be successful unless something goea terribly wrong. Although with the tradition between the two schools you can throw out records. Its just like Jacksonville vs Northside.. Some may think that the score indicates it was a close game but trust me it was not. Our coaches are first class and will not try and embarrasse another team by just pouring it on. So e of these are a little deceiving because coach Williams pulls his starters as soon as possible. So allot of points other teams are scoring are against the backups.

Yea I'm just talking about on this forum. We can discuss games a week or so away it don't mean the teams and staffs are. I just didn't want anyone to think this game was Friday night. This is a season ending game for all the marbles.

Hey brother. Didn’t wanna bring this up on here but don’t know your contact info. Are you hearing anything over there about the future of your HC?

Not going anywhere...that is just like they had him and his brother going to JH Rose remember 100% for sure. He is highly sought after. Has built a real good thing in Jacksonville and actually if he did leave would not be a smart move. Why not reap the rewards of what you have built especially when your so close to winning it all

I do know this the only place that he would leave and come coach at would be New Bern. So if that is what your hearing then yeah that might be a possible new destination.

Holic, between us, wink, wink, you really are looking past. That's okay unless you admit it. As far as Coach Williams looking elsewhere, I would suggest that Jacksonville gives him no reason to. You know what I mean?

Exactly trust and believe whatever he ask for he will get. Some very important folks in Jacksonville will make sure of that. No need for him to go anywhere. Jr High team that feeds the varsity has not lost a game in the last 4 years the poo warner teams have went on to play for national titles in Disney. Jv teams have only lost 1 maybe two games the past 4 seasons. So why would he leave to start all over somewhere else?

Yep, I'm familiar. I'd love to coach that bunch. Good kids, good families and talent/speed everywhere.

In J'ville you are talking about New Bern/Havelock talent x 2. Create a winning program and it becomes x 3. Maybe an exaggeration, but knowledgeable posters know what I mean. Local talent with constant new family influx. Sound familiar Bears and Rams?

He has built something special here. If he stays he will create his own legend. He will win multiple titles here with the talent that is coming up. You guys have got to see the youngsters who are on the way. Talk about some special kids. Remember about 6 years back when I was saying that Jacksonville was going to be one of the best in the state? Everyone called me crazy...coolio and every other name you can think of. SWO poster swore before God...Jacksonville would never beat the mighty Stallions. Northside would always dominate them because all the athletes went there. Remember that? Now you don't have to agree with me but everything that I said about the program has been true. Even when they were 0-11 I tried to tell y'all gurus. I got laughed at. I will say it again just like I said before as long as tgere is someone name Williams coaching at Jacksonville high school there will be a parade going down Henderson with the Cards riding on fire trucks real soon.

Exactly Seadog of...knowledgeable posters know exactly what you are talking about. This area is growing so much its unbelievable. Also since they winning now kids who are supposed to go to Jacksonville go there now. Not like it was when you had 5 to 6 kids who were great players and lived directly across the street from JHS who went to Northside. Used the loophole of finding one class that JHS did not offer that Northside did so they could enroll. Funny how things change when you win.

Northside crushed White Oak after it opened and Padgett lured players to SWO. Old school was J'ville and White Oak. Like you say, holic. J'ville is now squeezing the others out. Unless some politics get in the way, J'ville has the best location.

Cards backups run down to 5 yard line and take a knee instead of running up the score. Class act. 51-0 Halftime all backups since 2nd QT

Cards on running clock take it down to 15 yard line and just take knee for three plays to give White Oak ball. Class move. No need to run up score.

Too easy! Plus, White Oak should be better!
Yeah one TD called back and 3 times got down inside the 10 yard line and our team just took a knee. Just don't get it. White Oak has some good kids over there. To be honest one of the most athletic teams we have faced. Just like Hertford County. I have no idea what to say about that team. Just no way. You should have seen those kids. Hands down they had the most athletes that I have seen. Coaching makes the world of difference. Definitely could have scored whatever they wanted tonight. Jacksonville showed that they are a class act and not just pour it on just because. Nothing but respect.
