I will be honest...i had some buddies kids play and a niece who cheered during that stretch. Only reason I made those games was I had to be a good Uncle. So cool we are competitive statewide again.

I see u have reading problems also huh lol? I will copy and paste that as soon as u copy and paste where I said yall wanted to be us lol smh... Furthermore, u are not the only jville fan on the forum, i clearly said YALL meaning I have been seeing it not necessarily from you. Why should we worry about Dillon, they strap up same as we do. Its the 1st game of the yr, 2 good programs, nothing to be worried about. Win or lose it doesnt stop our goal lol
Now Easy, I thought we talked about this. It’s a complete waste of time and energy being rational with Jacksonville folks and their grand illusion of championship dreams we both know ain’t happening in our
lifetimes. Playing good football is one thing it’s reaching in deep that measures what a program is made of and its leadership on and off the field. Unfortunately the Cards fell short in this category and a repeat performance is doubtful at best and that’s being nice which I strive doing every day of my life. Give them a little room until Havelock stuffs them back into the thunder mug. Lol...all the best to those bighorns.

I am glad you are an expert on Cardinal football based on one game. I came home telling everybody how the Catholic players and fans were a classy bunch. Your constant ridicule doesn't do the fans I met any justice. Stay classy CC.

I’m an expert on tunnel-visoned upstart fans that think they know everything after one good season in twenty-five because they are in every forum every year as soon as their team crawls out from under the rock. Hey, good luck, and I mean that. You’ll need lots of it to repeat 2018. I don’t think you have the goods or the moxie to come close to what you did last season but time will tell and, in my considered opinion, will only show what I have said to be so. The wretched field conditions at Kenan were the best friend your birdies could have possibly had yet still you lost. Plus the weather helped you win over Havelock. That won’t happen this time. Jacksonville had their chance and Jacksonville failed. Back to where you belong.

That's funny. The weather kept us in the game with you, and made us beat Havelock. Perfect logic, makes a lot of sense. All that tuition you boys are paying in Charlotte for that top notch education and that's the best you can come up with?

Amazing isn’t it? Love listening to this self proclaimed expert. Every time you think you heard the dumbest thing to come out his mouth he says something else.

Its the damnest thing. For the first time in the history of Sport, the field was only muddy when Catholic had the ball.

I wish this would be one of those ESPN games for you guys at Dillon. I went to see Jacksnville scrimmage New Hanover (3AA). Jacksonville looked better than thought but had alot things to work on. who did you guys scrimmage Sat? The Brown kid didn't play hamstring. back played well.

Rode by today but couldn't stop in. Any word on how they looked? The team they were playing looked huge from the stoplight.

We didnt scrimmage until Monday and it was SWO... That got real ugly smh. We got to Tarboro's jamboree this Friday so it should be good competition. Brown has been having alot of those lately, this could pose as a problem as the season goes on. I hope not, but not this has been recurring for him.

I did not. Heard good things though. I feel confident we will compete.
Yes we will compete. Even without Tymir out there. Backup played well. I would not risk him in first scrimmage like that either. That cost the Cards their starting QB like 6 years ago. The Sieders kid on that same field.

Freshman QB looked good. SWO is down this year but doesn’t really matter, the Rams haven’t missed a beat. Front 4 will be really good. Game next Friday should be a slobber knocker.

It was ugly! Tymir sat out again and the backup looked pretty darn good. Kid can wing it. Our receivers dropped a few but caught allot. Defense gets to the ball in a hurry and with allot of bad intentions. Call me crazy but from the looks of it this squad seems faster then last years team. RB looked strong and fast. All of them. Your going to have to pick your poison. Allot to tighten up but they are on par with last years group at this time. A ton of athletes... really fast athletes all over the field. So I hope some continue to sleep. They will be in for a surprise.

It was ugly my friend... CB Aycock never scored. I have no idea how many we scored I left after the first 3. Just way to many athletes and speed for them. Our RB’s can straight fly. All of them. Receivers dropped a few balls. Backup QB is legit! Kid can sling it and has some nice touch on his balls. Defense gets there in a hurry and with bad intentions. I sure hope everyone takes us lightly. They will find out real fast and I do mean fast. Not much different then last years bunch... matter of fact this group overall team speed is faster on both sides of the ball. Imagine that!
