Matt is getting too wrapped up in this legacy recruit ********. This dude is a D-2 prospect. Gonna bite Matt in the *** at some point. Better be a walk-on. However, to some posters, he will be the next Heisman winner. Matt needs to relax with the Nebraska boys.

If he’s pandering it’s working on me

We can’t get enough NE kids, IMO

Yep.

100% chance if he committed elsewhere same dude would be bitching that Rhule is not keeping the in-state talent home.
Over thinking and slow playing in-state recruits was a problem for years. I'm glad to see Rhule have some conviction in his evaluation skills and not slow play these local kids.

nice speed, size, some room to grow. Lincoln kids always seem to play above their rankings and produce in positive ways. solid recruit. TEAMS are made out of kids like this.

Carpenter and Hayes have nearly identical 100M times - 10.68 and 10.69. Add that to some other receivers like Lloyd and Coleman who are even faster. Stretching the field shouldn't be a problem going forward. As a comparison, Trey Palmer ran a 10.42 in HS.

And Trey ran the fastest 40 for all Wr's at the NFL combine the year he tested.

Using Trey as a benchmark, it's pretty clear that NU has upgraded speed in a big way. Also, Rahmir ran 10.75 in HS. Rhule has added a serious amount of speed in a short period of time.

Put them in our S&C program and they’ll likely get faster.
