Kentucky didn’t offer him a scholarship. Now the payment part is say you’re spot on with that.

According to his recruiting profiles I’ve found, when he committed to Auburn he didn’t have an offer from our program, Duke didn’t offer, and UNC didn’t offer till a few months before he committed. Every article I’ve looked at about his commitment our program isn’t mentioned either. I did find that Joel Justice did scout his games and visited him in 2019. Could be possible that something was going on with his recruitment that we don’t know about though.

Article currently on KSR says he never got offered as well.

UK didn’t recruit him for a reason. This wasn’t a recruitment they were going to win and he was always going to auburn from the beginning so UK didn’t waste resources.
