It’s been a very tough go for Jabari in his short NBA career, but last night marked his return from a second ACL tear in just a few short years.

"It felt great," Parker said. "But honestly, training myself to think about it as just getting better. It's not going to take just one game, a few games, just the whole process. That game didn't really stick out as much as people perceive it to be."

He scored 12 points in 15 minutes. I hope the injuries are behind him. His NBA career is so promising and he’s still, believe it or not, just 22 years old.

I was happy to see him back in action last night, 12 in 15 is not bad after being out so long. Kid seems like a class act. Good luck to him.

God you're a clown. Where did I say I hated the kid?

And Jabari went to school with my younger cousin; he was known as being somewhat of a prick to more quiet kids as he was growing up. I've also met him and he's the most unfriendly player I've ever met. Maybe he was having a bad day, but others there said the same thing. I guess I should also drop my cousins name as proof lol?

I wish nothing bad for the kid and, as some you selectively missed above, I wish the kid luck in recovery. He's a talented player.

To me, You answered it yourself. If your enemy “likes” you, you probably don’t play with killer instinct or a small chip on your shoulder.

He is a good kid and wish him well.

Where did So Cal say he hated Parker? I liked the way he played, seemed like a good teammate.
His one year came after an elite 8 run, and before our last title, so maybe that has something to do with it. I honestly don't think about him much from a Duke fan view, I mean a first round loss was painful when it happened, and he was our stud.

Thanks buddy, appreciate you helping clarify it. I should just delete my post, it's not worth getting lambasted because some people selectively read posts. This place is mind-boggling sometimes....

I'll bow out of this thread, apologies DJ as I didn't intend to highjack it. I'm NOT A BIG FAN of Jabari but I certainly don't hate him, and I hope his career gets right back on track. Sadly twin stalkers in TickettoStalk and TheDude have fired everyone up. Guys, just know I don't hate Jabari!

From "not being a big fan," it's a baby step to bringing "THE hate," or "not caring for" someone, or "don't like." Crying over others' exact words instead of explaining yourself is immature, evasive, and cowardly. Not to mention the hypocrisy of claiming other people read selectively.

Of course, in a thread celebrating the return from injury of a great person who played at Duke, the kind of person who chooses to throw in ANY version of that mess is probably not someone who would get that.

You have no reason to apologize So Cal. You did nothing wrong. You merely articulated your feelings and never said you "hate" JP. In fact you wished him well rest of year.....UNC fan got it all stirred up. To him I say "Roy Knew."

I never said you hated him. I asked where the ‘hate’ came from? It’s a fairly common expression. For instance:

Me: Hey @Dattier , what do you think of my sweet new shoes?

Dat: I’m not a big fan of them.

I’ve met Jabari a couple of times and had a much different experience. Not sure if that means i caught him on good days or not but perhaps it could mean the opposite for you.
