J.R. Cunningham sues NCAA

J.R. Cunningham of Tulsa and others have sued the NCAA and multiple conferences for the unauthorized use of their name, image and likeness in March Madness highlights. He was never a star player at TU so I don't think the NCAA has benefited significantly when his image appears.

Not his first lawsuit against the NCAA.

He was our sixth man, bruiser at PF. He transferred from ASU I believe. His last year playing for us was Self's first year. The last concussion he received was against Ruffin's knee, in practice IIRC.

He was a pretty good forward, he had some shooting skills. The concussions ended his career just like they did for Johnnie Gendron.

Yeah, I watched that after I posted above post. That was rough to watch. I've been there. I tried to find out if he won his first lawsuit against NCAA. I have my doubts, considering he is now a member of another lawsuit. Not that that says much about the first lawsuit, but I just doubt he would have been so keen to file another lawsuit if the first had been successful.
