Frosh WR for Oregon State has
46 catches for 1,040 yards (1st in NCAA over OSU Smith) and 14 TDs (1st) and is averaging 22.6 yards per catch!! That is an incredible stat line for a season, let alone for this point. Crazy.

He is going to be a hot commodity in the portal if the Beavers cannot hang on to him.
Wow haven't paid much attention to them. He will have a big pay raise coming his way.

I would love to see what freshmen WRs over the years have had similar numbers after 7 games. Regardless of team or competition that is steroidal.
Probably only the elite Ohio State freshman recently that I can think of. Harrison jr., Olave, Smith. At the power level at least.

I don’t remember how many Julio Jones had as a freshman even though he was very good. Malachi Toney and Rondell Moore had crazy good freshman seasons but nowhere near the pace that kid is on. They finished with around 1200 yards and 11-12 yard averages.

I couldn’t find anyone else close to those stats after 7 games. What’s crazy is he was a 3 star recruit who played DB until his senior year in HS.

He resigned with OSU. Crazy this era where mid-season teams are tying up their players for next season.
