and do not understand how anyone is reading tea leaves about MR or ML... Great presser, wanting to settle in before any decisions are made about anything. He has a blueprint for his vision of D-1 athletics and will not waver from it. I think this was a good hire.

Sadly, when the team is coming off back to back blowouts at home, no less, and 6-6 looks like a best case, what else is there to discuss? Someone posted yesterday that we are about where the Goghers were in the 70s and 80s, wondering when their glory years of twenty years earlier would recur. They are still waiting 40 years later. We could discuss that. Or we could still cling to foolish optimism about a future with championships with great new coaches — and that is where some of us are today.
