The AD claims its because of 'renovation' to that eyesore where they play. But, of course, they've been playing there all year. Real reason: They didn't want an empty arena embarrassing them on TV...

If I wasn't old enough to have endured their fans back in the days when they mattered (Reagan was president) I'd almost feel sorry for them....Nah.

Hey if I were them and had the chance to play in that dump , or in Atlanta I would pick Atlanta too !!

They also cited the students are out on break, which "theoretically" would reduce attendance. A crappy product on the floor also reduces attendance!

A solitary tear rolls down my cheek...

Who knows? It may be time for another "resurgence" or another net cutting ceremony after a loss or some rings celebrating mediocrity or they could bring the students in and let them storm the court and finish tearing that place down. Maybe they could commemorate the day with some more popcorn boxes. That seemed to do the trick before, right? No? Oh nevermind. :D

I swear iu and Tom crean are the gift that keeps on giving. IU fans with all of their failures still believe that the program is still relevant in college basketball. When the truth is they are as irrelevant as BCG was turning us into when he was here. How they can talk crap and say UK is scared to play them is unreal. Keep living off of watfords shot little peegs cause it's all u have

Just for the record Kentucky turned down an NIT game in Memorial thinking we would play there next game. Got beat in the 1st game away.

i don't understand. clappy cut the nets for their big ten championship after a loss with ten people in the gym. the ad doesn't understand clappy enough. he should apologize to him sincerely and give him a raise.

You remember their fans circa 1992? Their fans were insufferable. Living in southern Indiana representing BBN for 40 years!

Florida played three road games as the higher seed in the NIT last year. Maybe 2 games as the higher seed then a real road game as the lower seed. I don't remember. Probably ended up helping our end of year KenPom number though, so I'm happy in retrospect! Also the team played really well in the post season last year.
