7 straight cupcakes (nearly lost to Xavier who missed a layup at the buzzer) so they have a gaudy 7-0 record. But trouble looms ahead as they play #1 unc, #14 Arizona and #3 Kansas in the next month.
But what if they win 2 of those 3 games??😮

IU fan here.

The team has many areas, especially shooting, that need improvement, but they are silly deep with quality athletes and can most certainly beat anybody on any given night.

I wouldn't be surprised to see IU go 2-1 in the upcoming games against North Carolina, Arizona and Kansas.

Just pointing out what Greenberg said. He was serious too. I’ve said that IU has good club this year. Right now, Woodson’s team beats Cal on a neutral court

Trust us, at least for this year. You really don’t know what you have until you play a team with a pulse. And I’m watching Xavier right now, they aren’t a Top 25 team.

Xavier will finish top three in the Big East. It is a quality road win, which are tough to come by.

If they win any of those games they’re gonna party like it’s 1987 baby.

Mike Woodson isn't Clappy. Not by a long shot.

Crean was an embarrassment and God, I wish they would have hired Woodson 10 years before they actually did.

The guy knows how to coach and doesn't act like a child predator on the sidelines like the Clapster used to.

You very well might be right and I'm not sure IU shoots the ball well enough to contend for a national championship, but they are still really, really good. Big, athletic, excellent defensively, deep and well coached.

Woodson is ok. But that fanbase just is what it is. Woodson doesn’t control that.

Woodson's better than okay.

Look at where the program was just a year and a half ago under Archie Miller and look where it is now.

Especially the talent level, which is very high.

Being that I'm an IU fan, I obviously don't have the same level of disdain you have for IU fans, but I agree there are plenty of crazies within the fanbase. I've also seen plenty of crazies in our opponents' fanbases.

Blah Blah B;ah.... the ole "theres crazies in opponents fan bases"

Yours is the only one in my lifetime that has spit on opposing players PARENTS. By far the chittiest thing ive ever heard, and it all stems from jealousy. Jealous that the team they pull for sucks and the rival is crushing it. Indiana fans come to Rupp and theres isn't a chance in hell anyone would do a thing. Night and day comparing fan bases.
I hope Cal never schedules these cry babies.

Archie was a million times worse than the Clapper.

There are crazies in other fanbases. Obviously what happened to those parents is sickening, but that statement still holds true.

...and I expect that series will kick off again not long down the road.

Crean was a better con artist than Archie was and blew the fanbase better than a porn fluffer.

I'll still never understand how Crean conned really good ballplayers like Cody Zelller and Yogi Farrell into joining him in Bloomington.

That was Archie's problem. Clappy took several years until recruits began to realize he was not only an awful coach, but he was also one serious weirdo.

Recruits caught onto Archie after 1 season in Bloomington.

As i said, Indiana fans come to Rupp theyre safe. UK fans come to has-beenville, theres a 100% chance they'll be treated like chit and either spit on, threatened, or thrown drinks on. Its best they dont play......I'd rather play a relevant program and not give your fans the satisfactory.

We'll see if IU is relevant when this season's over.

During the Clappy and Archie years, I agree IU couldn't compete with the big boys, at least not consistently.

There's a different vibe with Mike Woodson as head coach.

We'll learn more as the season goes along.

Spoken like a fan of a has been program that hasn't played anyone.

Its almost Dec and your toughest game was against Xavier.....and i could be wrong but didnt IU almost lose? Hey, but IU looked great against that school with 4 white guys under 6 foot.

We'll find out a lot more about IU in the coming weeks but with the way UK has looked in it's games against the big boys, I wouldn't exactly be looking down on other programs, but hey....you do you.

Yeah, the double OT loss to Michigan State really makes us look bleak. And the loss to #2 Gonzaga on their floor was shocking too.

UK would be #1 and drooled on if they played Indianas schedule, we're undefeated playing cupcakes too, lady.

Where was MSU ranked during that double OT loss?

Probably right around where Xavier was I'll bet and your game was on a neutral court.

MSU is 12 i believe....who gives a crap where they were, the game was a week or 2 ago. You think they weren't ranked 12 just ten days ago?
No, Xavier is Xavier. But congrats on that hard earned victory over that big time program and HOF coach.

Any chance that win over Xavier will go on popcorn boxes?

MSU looks to be unranked when they beat UK.

I think that win over UK helped propel the Spartans into the top 25.

Xavier didn't move into the top 25, you know....because they lost.

Funny how your basketball IQ is so low, you think due to being unranked 2 weeks prior makes a team less valuable. Then again, im talking to a fan who doesn't have much experience following a team passed January.

Um...wut?

You dismiss the IU win at Xavier, who will finish top 3 in the Big East, but UK losing to then unranked MSU, is no biggie?

Sheesh. You should go into comedy.

It was nice talking to you though. Have a good night.

Yeah, losing double OT to Michigan State vs eeking out a win against Xavier.... Neither is worth bragging about, but that is Indianas biggest win. Which is hilarious considering its almost Dec.

Top 3 in the Big East? LOLOL.....this is hilarious! Besides Villanova, who is worth a damn in the big east? Seten Hall? This isn't 1985. Dear God, lol

Good job with your valuable undefeated cupcake schedule, very impressive. Apparently your stupid fanbase bought right into it.
