Time to get over it.

NCAA is not going to do anything significant to UNC, and the press isn't going to demand or even cover it hardly.

Carolina is way too entrenched in sports, specifically basketball. Kind of like Harvard, Stanford, Yale, etc are in Wall Street. Tight knit community of skull n bones frat bros.

From the boss at espn to Jordan Brand/Nike to Mitch Kupchak (recently fired, but still a heavy hitter), the ACC deal and love fest, and on and on...nobody is messing with it.

I don't know who will win the championship but if it's them there needs to be a big asterisk beside their name. Surely to goodness you can't compromise the integrity of the NCAA and without some sort of punishment.

I would think we would, if we had any backbone. Look, this isn't the NCAA of old. They cannot and will not do anything about it. If anything ever happens at Kentucky, we need to just smile and keep right on going like it doesn't even matter because it doesn't.

In fact, we need to publicly honor Cal for winning his 500th game that the NCAA threw a fit over several years ago and not look back.

I was saying exactly the same thing to my husband just now. I am numb from our loss tonight. The thing that upsets me the most, however, is how UNC still has not been held accountable for all the academic cheating they were involved in. If the NCAA was a reputable organization they would have already dropped the hammer on UNC. Instead it seems like the UNCheats get breaks and are rewarded so the NCAA "darlings" can move on to the FF year after year.

They are not UK fans if they are wishing that, they are a cheating institution that has the NCAA in their hipp pocket. Kentucky fans can take losing but not to cheaters who are thumbing their noses at rules that are to be followed in fair play.
