We as a fan base have endured Harvey Perlman, Steve Pederson, Callahan and Cosgrove, Pelini, Eichorst, and that guy from Oregon - We had no coaching tree to speak of, top coaches shunned us due to lack of recruiting proximity. We had the Big10 make us play every top team in most years and through this all the fan base remained intact - barely but it remained committed.

Its our turn now - Frost is one of the hottest young coaches in the last decade or so, the players are hungry the time is ripe given we the rest of the competition in the West.

I have to say I have not been more hopeful for the start of a new staff in long time if ever. I think if we remain patient and stick behind these guys finally NU has turned a corner

I agree. Frost gets it on a level that very few anywhere do. It’s very exciting. I haven’t been this excited for the start of a season since 1997. It’s been a long time but now it’s our time! It may take 2-3 years but this ship has left port and once it gets up to speed watch out!

Haven't been this confident about the direction of Husker football since Tom left.
We're beginning the climb back to national relevancy. It won't happen overnight, but we'll be in good hands for a long time.
