The Big Ten's huge haul
This was eye-opening: The Big Ten doled out $1.37 billion to its schools in 2024-25 — the conference’s first year with 18 members and a new media rights agreement, as well as the first year with a 12-team College Football Playoff (in which the Big Ten did very well). For perspective, that's $340 million more than the SEC announced in February, and the Big Ten’s total revenue was more than three times what the Big 12 reported on its most recent available tax return. Wow. Also: Former commissioner Jim Delany, who retired in January 2020, received more than $6 million?! Read the full story here.

Closer and closer to P2.

With the money each school is receiving, a particular ACC school (highly rumored target) can make up the exit fee in 2 years.
