When you have teams wanting to get in and being added instead of teams wanting to leave for greener pastures, that's a sign of conference security. And more teams in a conference means the media companies cannot ignore you if they want to seriously televise college sports.
Sadly Oregon and Washington have been more competitive on the football field lately than our own pathetic records of the last few years so there should be good interest in their games with other B1G teams like Ohio State and Michigan.
There's no reason to believe that when the next contract is up for negotiation that the B1G won't be able to leverage Oregon and Washington as well. Last numbers I saw indicated Oregon was a good television draw. And now with all the West Coast teams now, there's also an option for a full night time slate of games to televise.
