You're right...he didn't. He DID however average 14.2 points, 10.4 rebounds and 4.7 blocks per game. So in return I could say Jamal Murray, who only averages 4 rebounds and 2 assists, did not impact the game as much as AD. Give me AD's 6 more rebounds and 4.5 more blocks over Murray's 5 more points any day of the week in a basketball game.

Murray's impact for "this" team is soooo much greater than Davis in 2012 who had help from the likes of T. Jones, MKG, Lamb, Teague and Miller.

AD was final 4 MVP and barely put up any scoring numbers in those 2 games. There's never been one player to effect the college game defensively the way AD did. AD isn't the best freshman to play at UK. He's the BEST PLAYER IN THE HISTORY OF KENTUCKY BASKETBALL.

Davis was a bigger impact on the outcome of a game than any player I have ever seen in college basketball. Take away his offense and he still is on another level.

Ulis is on pace to have the most assists in a single season evr at UK and Murray is on pace to have teh most 3 point baskets ever made at UK in a single season. Plus he is shooting the three at over 40% as a Freshman.

There is a lot more to basketball than just scoring my friend. I have no idea what games you are watching, but Murray is severely lacking in the defensive department. He got burned in the Tennessee game on the road big time and that really was one of main reasons Kentucky lost that game because Murray was not guarding anyone. He has been a little better since they switched to a zone some, but he is not an elite defender by no means next to Anthony Davis. He is a great scorer, but you saying that he is a better freshman than Davis, you may wanna have your head examined by a professional.

Besides all of that. I can't remember a single player that impacted his team and the game more than Anthony Davis when he was in the game as opposed to being out for something like foul trouble.
Murray is a better scorer than AD. That's it. AD impacted every inch of the court when he was on it. People were afraid to drive because they'd get blocked. People would shoot differently from outside because they knew he'd be on them in a split second. Throw the ball within 8 feet of the rim and he'd find it and dunk it. He was a better rebounder, defender, blocker, and athlete than any uk player in the last 5 years.
