First half was brutal. Second half was a thing of beauty, outside the kick return for a TD. Totally dominated on both sides, stuck to the run, took care of the ball.

Yes, yes....I loved it. It looked like the real-deal Big Red Machine! Yeah, it wasn't a power house opponent.....but still!!

Defense could have folded when the other units kept crapping the bed - but they didn't. D was pretty solid the entire game.

Beating a mediocre team is a Helluva lot better than losing to one - which NU has done a lot lately. Solid win - hopefully something to build on.

Adrian just makes too many mistakes. Great kid, but I don’t think we can go anywhere with him. This offense needs an exceptional QB and neither Adrian or Luke are that.

As ugly as it was, it's a win. I'll take it. Ugly win but a win is a win
The wins are few and far between. Even when we do win, the same pattern always emerges. We play sloppy as hell and keep the game close with a team we should have far outclassed in talent. When is the last time we had a convincing win? People say we're so improved this year, yet we had 2 blowout wins last year and 0 this year. The same pattern emerges every season too. The team starts off the year woefully unprepared and the players don't play up to their talent level until the last few games of the season. People claim there's improvement, but then we regress and go back to square one to start the next season. These types of patterns are very disturbing, and are a glaring warning sign of ineptitude within the coaching staff.

Time for you to change bed pans since your Gophers lost..

did they?? Damn ... was hoping Minnesota would win as that would have put Neb in 4th place in the division rather than 5th.

Man it sucks that 3 years in the best finish in one of the worst divisions in all of college football is 5th and the record was 1-4 in the division having lost to the 7th place team

Where have you read that we are so improved this year? Please cite examples...

Thanks!

Thank goodness Vedral wasn’t available ... caught a huge break
This is some really bad trolling. Nobody believes that even you would think that the guy ranked 103rd in QBR with a 1-7 record as a QB is a game-changer.
