His legacy is gone already. It’s all scandal and racial division that he has left. He got Osama during his watch. Got that going for him, but anything else is laughable to attribute to him. It’s cool, you all can still pray to a Chicago 5 times a day while the rest of us put him the same category as Carter where he belongs.
They can't explain why his hand picked successor whiffed on the underhand softball she was pitched right across the plate if he was so successful ?

Have seen this reported on Fox but even they are being cautious regarding the impact of increased African American support on the midterm elections. I can only speculate that this support may not translate to voter turnout and votes for Republican candidates for Senators and Representatives. Keeping control of Senate appears to be doable but the House is very if y. Loss of control of either would be very bad for Donald.
I do think Kanye made some heart felt points in his meeting with POTUS. Also, I wonder why more African American leaders don’t try meeting with Republican Reps. They might get some cooperation on issues like pardons for Alice Johnson or sentencing reform (hardened by Bill Clinton)....
I won’t believe a lot has changed until I see if this support translates into seats in the House & Senate. It takes a lot to change old patterns.
The Dems have to retake both. Only grabbing Congress will be a massive failure and if they don’t grab that one, collapse of a party.
The trends are unmistakable and also unreported. I do not believe the Democrats will win either the House or the Senate. They will lose seats in the Senate and are not likely to gain seats in the House and may in fact lose them. No Blue Wave media hoax.
That was true even before the media predictions of the "Blue Wave". I think the Judge Kavanaugh hearings and the absolute craziness the Left has displayed marching and protesting and attacking people, has fired up Republicans to the point where I doubt it's a Blue Wave it'll be more like a "Red Wave".

They are the party of anger and hate. They think everyone else hates Trump like they do, and they don't offer voters anything besides hate and anger. Look at this thread.

I haven’t changed my vision. Don’t see black or white. Only green. My wallet & 401 K says vote for the Donald even though he is unpolished. And that’s being kind.
Issues always matter. Always have and always will. Democrats are banking on getting elected strictly on hatred for an individual. Voters are looking for solutions to real life problems that involve issues and not hatred.
Democrats are chasing Fool's Gold thinking hatred of Trump will propel them to a majority with a voting mandate. WRONG!

Another reason I believe Democrats are in trouble is they are relying on a thoroughly corrupt and horribly incompenent media for their analysis. This is a media that totally missed Trump's support in '16. That has completely ignored the stunning growth of his support among monorities, particularly African Americans, this is a media that has missed how strenuously voters oppose open borders, a media that consistently has missed predictions in local races and State races, and even national races.
The media's track record is abysmal. They have a terrible report card and simply no credibility convincing voters Democrats have a solid agenda to vote for. Democrats are trusting their biased, slanted, incomplete and downright lazy reporting, convincing themselves voters are about to reject Republicans and replace them with radical Leftist Democrats.
