I mean, I love some good natured ribbing as much as the next guy, but a couple days later after their team wins on a fluke shot? From a fan base we have had very little interaction with? Weird.

Yeah Louisville took a long time to get over. This was bad too - but nowhere near as much on the line.

I agree, mainly because of how hard they worked but also because what it would have meant to the current build.

But I almost did this in the agonizing loss thread: Herve’s two game winning shots vs. Providence and Cuse, Billet vs. Monmouth, ND on the road and Gtown at MSG; Jerome Coleman raining threes taking down ranked teams; J Mitch 4 point play vs. the hated Nova; CJ Gettys and Cory’s putbacks to win two games in Pike’s first year.

There are many more that I’m forgetting, but the point is, we have the right guy, the right team and we’re going to get more of these. This was just a giant kick in the gut along the way.

I’m more upset for everyone here (and me). You are some of the most loyal and best damn fans on the planet and you deserve a winner. We will get there.

It only stings because we played so well. That’s a good thing.

I posted elsewhere that if Geo’s Shot rattled out, and Iowa got the rebound and we wound up losing by three or four, it would have been a
Typical loss and an easier ride home.

We played a winning game with winning shot
at the end, 99.9% of the time

We had done good

This one was really frustrating but it wasn't going to change the outcome of the season and we get another one just 4 days later.

That Louisville game... I sat there as they took that last knee and knew it was my last shot at seeing RU win an outright conference championship as a young man. After being up 20-3 in the 3rd before an incorrect and obscure call turned a TD into a punt. That was as depressing a sporting result as you'll ever see

Sorry 13-10 was the most depressing and it will never not be, that wasn’t how that was supposed to end

I was going to stick with hoops here. Bringing football into the equation makes it more painful. Damn Slaton fumble...
