… watching the BearSharks lose but I think this has been Bianco’s plan all along.

They lose the first game without really trying to win it, then pitch Nikhazy (spelling?) for a sure win in the second game, and then plan on Arizona’s pitching staff to be depleted by the time the third game rolls around. The BearSharks’ pitching staff, while not as deep as ours, is likely much deeper than Arizona’s and that is what Bianco is counting on.

Of course, I could be wrong.

Nikhazy tomorrow is not a sure win. It’s their best chance to win but it’s by no means a sure thing. Especially not against an excellent offense like Arizona. And AZ was able to save their best starter as well.

I think Bianco's strategy is to pitch Nikhazy tonight and then Nikhazy on Sunday. You know...just go with his normal rotation.

I’ll stick with the stat they gave in the Arky game yesterday. Since the new format in 1999, the team to win the first game, has won the series 80% of the time. Go to Hell Ole Miss!!

Arizona has a good enough offense to beat Nikhazy. I’d throw my best and try to win the series today.

Agree. I think it sends a bad message to your team to in a sense "concede" a game just because the other team is throwing their one and only ace at you.

Arizona could have just had a good game last night but I was pretty impressed with that offense. If Arkansas, Vandy and Arizona all make the CWS that side of the bracket will be very difficult.

Their ace is going against booger Saturday and their Sunday guy is good. They have plenty of depth in the pen.

Tennessee lost to Lipscomb
OM lost to UT Martin
