America is in it's death throes. We are no longer one nation but a multiplicity of smaller political factions vying for the power to inflict their worldview on the masses. Rome took centuries to fall apart, America will only take decades and we've already been on the clock for 50 years.
Saw this in todays local newspaper.....spot on:

"Back in early September, when Portland was being burned on a nightly basis, the AP writers described the miscreants as “demonstrators” throughout the report. Today, they described them as “rioters” and being a “mob.” This biased reporting is one of the many reasons yesterday’s disgraceful assault occurred. It’s time for media and elected officials, on both sides of the aisle, to stop playing the game."

They won't. They think they're morally superior, when in fact they are quite the opposite.
They dont care. They think enough people will believe anything they are told so they will lie to them and enjoy their good lives.

LOL it's nice that you equate someone using a personal email account with a POTUS claiming election fraud for 4 years and then telling the nation for 2 months that the election was fraudulent and then holding a rally based on the same BIg Lie on the day that his opponent who won the election was to have his victory certified and then whipping them into a frenzy and then telling them to head down to the capitol and show strength after which they overran the U.S. capitol where two people were violently killed and the building trashed. Yeah, I'd say those things are pretty equivalent. [eyeroll] No one stopped anyone from bringing charges or taking other action against Hillary for her email shenanigans.
You apparently only read what you wanted to , I did not compare the two actions, just compared the act of people covering for the wrong doings as long as it suits there narrative. Our politicians & the elites in this country live to a different standard than the general population ( educated or skilled) .
Please tell me how a lawyer with a team of lawyers working for them can plead ignorance & people still vote for them & they get in no trouble? It truly has nothing to do with party affiliation for me .
For the record had Bernie Sanders won the democratic nomination in 16 & a Ted Cruz won the Republican I was voting for Bernie.....yeah a little messed up but I believe it would take a Trump or Bernie to help destroy the 2 party system .
Was hoping that the dnc would implode because of Bernie (but he took the pay off ..)..then the socialist would have there own party & we could get the old school Democrats back ...but it didn't happen......money rules...
I hope this mess gets us a viable 3rd party , the dnc & rnc's has way to much pull over our elected officials

Says the treasonous snakes like we saw storm the Capitol, and some that post on here. If we are so splintered, then I guess Trump is now in on it since he's condemned the rioters.

I've been on here saying for 4 years that America is irreconcilably divided. There is no way to heal or even bridge the gulf between the multiple sides. The solution is either a peaceful divorce or armed conflict that leads to the subjugation of one side or the other.

He’s posted almost verbatim that same thing about 10 times. He’s not wrong. The left has zero desire to work with the right. The right has zero desire to work with the left. How do you logically think this ends, or begins?

It would require adult leadership and neither party has that at present. Pelosi was calling Republicans domestic terrorists before the protests even started. Biden had an opportunity to try and bridge the chasm, and he decided to inflame.

I’m a casual observer at this point, and I don’t see this ending anywhere than with increased violence towards each side. It’ll start with political leaders, it’ll transition to media personalities, and then, just randos. We might be 5 days, 5 weeks, 5 months, or 5 years, but unless something changes, this is only ending one way.

You mean like the adult leadership we had from 2016-2020?

The only thing clean about Hillary was her server & that was after a wiping....
We need new faces in D.C & I dont think the dnc or the rnc is going to allow that , they make to much money. We only get who they want running & it sucks . I dont like joe or Kamala & I think most held there nose to vote for them & that's a Shame. I could have gotten behind tulsi
