Looks like they upgraded the forum again overnight. Please list any issues you run into, and, if you can, describe the path you took which led to the issue. For example, I keep getting "500 Internal Server Error" issues in various places, such as being on Page 3 of a thread and trying to go to Page 2.

I got that error replying to someone's individual post. second try it worked(their post showed in the reply box). but then when I typed my reply and hit post reply, got that error again. And again, simply hitting the post reply button a second time worked. edit: editing my post same error

I've received several error messages trying to post but as Ohio said it worked fine the second time in each instance.

Having a ton of issues on Mozilla. Slow to load, Internal Server errors, formatting is off.

Who was in charge of this upgrade, Flood?

Same as others, I get the 500 error on both Chrome and my iphone, but it works when I retry to access a thread or a page within a thread.

1. It no longer fill the screen, instead it's squeezed to the center as if you have not logged in.

2. I hate that the notification/alert pull down tab no longer works, instead you have to go to a different screen just to view new alerts.

3. I want my generic white guy avatar back. :joy:

Would be nice if it actually used more than 50% of the page width.
It's pretty weird, when my flash player crashes, the screen actually fills up perfectly like it should be, as soon as you reload flash, it goes back to the center.

As others have noted

  • Dislike that the new forum only makes use of half the screen.
  • Dislike the new generic avatar. Aside from it being Penn St blue, it is way too bold. Why don't they just go for a grayed-out generic avatar like most other sites use:

Change in format should have user input prior to implementation.I particularly don't like that the rivals phone number was deleted from the prior change.Problems with signing on or error messages require a customer service interface.Fans now must do trial and error problem solving or getting advice from other users.Fans are paying for premium service and that should include interface with rivals customer service reps.

They are working on tweaks to bring things back up and running smoothly. Most issues have been fixed, and I am assuming cosmetic things will be addressed, too. I have sent many of the concerns in and hope for more updates soon.

I mentioned in a post earlier that you cannot distinguish hyperlinks from plain text. It still appears to behave that way. The difference is that hovering over a link (that you don't know is a link) will be underlined. This will increase clutter because people will just post the urls instead of hiding them in the text of their message.

The margins are fairly large and the content isn't centered (right margin is larger than the left).

The alerts disappearing completely blows. The site is now more difficult to navigate when you want to have a back and forth conversation. This must be the same genius who screwed up the offer list. My blue bathroom sign also sucks. They finally fix the offer list then screw something else up. Also why are we now using less than 50% of the screen.

At the very bottom of the page left side is a square with arrows in it.
Click it and it goes full width.

Some folks who I know had avatars (mildone is an example) now display the frowning Cyclops avatar. Not sure if their avatars disappeared or just don't display for certain viewers.

I can see my avatar, but I also seem not to be seeing some other people's avatars. I can see yours though.

Very odd bug.

New default avatar = ugly.

So much blank space on the right side of the webpage when viewed on a computer.

There is blank space to the right of the screen when viewing on Chrome on android phone, too.

It seems to be working fine on my desktop (running firefox). Alerts have not been downgraded; instead, there are more options when you click on the alerts icon. But the default icon is terrible.

Can barely see the back button on the left side and whatever is on the right side due to how far down the black banner is. It's too big.
