that the reason an SEC team is trying to block Sarr is because maybe we did the same to them somewhere down the road? What got me thinking was all the dirty laundry Chris Mack aired about us trying to get their games rescheduled behind the scenes.

No. It's because Bruce Pearl and Will Wade are proven slime balls and cheaters who'll do anything ethical or unethical to damage Kentucky. But its a non-issue since Sarr will be cleared.

I think you just laid a Ferd, Terguson.
Well why else would they do it? Did they think their name wouldn't get leaked?

This is so very true !! Would you post this again so I could like it again , thanksNo. It's because Bruce Pearl and Will Wade are proven slime balls and cheaters who'll do anything ethical or unethical to damage Kentucky. But its a non-issue since Sarr will be cleared.
Not that I've seen. Everybody just assumes it him because he said something months ago on a radio show. Was something leaked that said it was, for sure, Pearl and Wade?

Someone posted that he heard the names from a “good source” and surprisingly Wade was not one... the poster didn’t deny Pearl. Was something leaked that said it was, for sure, Pearl and Wade?
It is Oct 7 and nearly all or all Players transferring to the SEC have been approved. Why the delay on Sarr since even the crooked NCAA has approved. I dont have my hopes up. We have been down this road for sure.No. It's because Bruce Pearl and Will Wade are proven slime balls and cheaters who'll do anything ethical or unethical to damage Kentucky. Really. Lets start a negative rumor without one thread of evidence to support it. I guess you believe everything the mainstream media puts out there.that the reason an SEC team is trying to block Sarr is because maybe we did the same to them somewhere down the road? Spot on. The basketball season is more than a month away. Bruce Pearl does not work in the SEC office. Any move by Pearl or any other SEC coach to attempt to block Sarr would immediately be seen as a clear conflict of interest, and Pearl's reputation already isn't the best. There is no actual evidence that Sarr's transfer is being handled differently from any other player's transfer. The SEC office does not determine its work schedule by reading this board and worrying about pleasing nameless posters. The simple and most believable reason why Sarr's waiver hasn't been announced yet is embodied in the word "yet". There is actually no tangible reason to think it won't be.Really. Lets start a negative rumor without one thread of evidence to support it. I guess you believe everything the mainstream media puts out there.
Sorry if this was already discussed somehwere, but did Cal actually do something behind the scenes to move one of UofL's games? If so, that's pretty funny.
I think it boils down to not wanting to have to compete against a team anchored by a proven Senior All-ACC 7’0 Center. Could be wrong, but I think that is their motivation.
This. Also, after watching his highlights a few days ago, he’s much better than I even thought. He rebounds, plays good defense, has solid post moves and passes extremely well for a 7 foot big man.I think it boils down to not wanting to have to compete against a team anchored by a proven Senior All-ACC 7’0 Center. His passing is what has me most excited, as we should be able to play a lot of inside out, with him in the game. That’s huge, with the quality guards and wings on our roster. Of course, the experience will be undoubtedly beneficial.
Getting Sarr eligible is crucial. I think the SEC will have really no other choice but to rule him eligible, at the end of the day. I honestly believe that adding Sarr will eventually make this team the best in the country. It’s the perfect roster fit IMO. The rest of the SEC should be afraid, very afraid.![]()
He just seems like a skilled basketball player. Nothing crazy fancy, just gets the job done type. I’m hoping he can develop an even better post game while here. Curious to see how our bigs develop, post-KP.Good post.
I have been very impressed with his passing from the post. He is very good at that aspect of the game.

Finally, comon sense post, no matter the outcome. I've changed my stance, of being negative to one of being more positive. This Covid 19 thing has changed most everything. If Sarr is finally approved and we happen to win the Championship it will give foder for the media heads to discuss. I can see the begative and positives coming if that happens.I think we all just want to hear that Olivier Sarr has been approved by the SEC Office and Commissioner Greg Sankey. I believe there has been alot to go on since March 2020 and the SEC Office and Sankey have been extremely busy this summer. First, trying to get this Football season going in 2020 and the rest of the SEC Sports and including rest of the SEC sports.
I would have to say though if everyone had seen or heard what Commissioner Greg Sankey said on this year's Transfer Waivers maybe you wouldn't feel this way.
Here is what Commissioner Greg Sankey said about this year's Transfer Waivers which at that time discussing Joey Gatewood and Cade Mays and since the NCAA had already approved these 2 athletes:
Due to the unprecedented circumstances going on surrounding the coronavirus pandemic, moves like this become more warranted.
“It must be stated unequivocally that these approvals are solely a reflection of the unique circumstances present and should not be interpreted as endorsement of the rationale set forth by individuals seeking these waivers,” Sankey said in a statement. Both Head Coaches at UK and UT said they were thankful for the SEC Presidents and Commissioner Greg Sankey took into account the unique circumstances around this season especially with COVID-19.
I just can't see after this Statement coming from Commissioner Greg Sankey about COVID-19 and other Circumstances that has happened this year he would APPROVE these Athletes and then the next day NOT APPROVE an Athlete with the same being Approved by the NCAA and waiting word from the SEC Office. I do know when Greg Sankey discussed this type of transfer which is inside the SEC Conference like when Gatewood transferred from Auburn to UK. Commissioner Greg Sankey isn't a Fan when a Player transfers from one SEC School to another SEC School. Sankey believes the Athlete does need to sit out a year. Sankey did say that how this has been an unusual year with Covid-19 and other Circumstances moves like this become more warranted.
This is why I believe since Olivier Sarr has already been approved by the NCAA and now waiting on the SEC Office this statement will apply to Sarr and the other athletes waiting on the SEC for there Transfer Waiver Approvals. Commissioner Sankey can't make this Strong Statement about Covid-19 and other Circumstances that we have faced this year in Sports and then use it on some Athletes and Approve athletes like Gatewood and Mays and then not use it and NOT APPROVE other Athletes.
Sankey would have his hands full if he started to approve some athletes and then not approve other athletes. With this year with COVID-19 and other Issues that has arose Commissioner Sankey would have a line of Head Coaches fighting to get there Athletes Transfer Waivers Approved. I would say if these ATHLETES have been Approved by the NCAA. Then NCAA sends Waiver Paperwork to the SEC Office and everything looks great with Athlete Grades and everything else then I would see all of these Athletes having there TRANSFER WAIVERS APPROVED. Commissioner Greg Sankey said Circumstances this year and COVID-19 moves like this become more warranted for Transfer Waivers to be approved in all NCAA Sports. I am sure it is extremely busy at the SEC Office. All that has went on since March 2020 when March Madness was cancelled due to COVID-19 we have to assume Sankey is working on all of the Fall Sports for Waiver Approvals and then get to the Winter Sports Waivers asap! This is when we will see Sarr being Approved for his Transfer Waiver. We all just have to be patient and eventually we will see that Sarr has been Approved for his SEC Transfer Waiver.
Good post.Mack laid it all out. Cal didn't look very good, and he didn't deny it. He just said "See you (whenever the game is scheduled)."
I like Coach Cal. I think there's a lot more good about him than bad, but I do think he does things behind the scenes that has given him enemies in the sport. Some would prefer to see only the good. That's fine. But the adults in the room know that people like Cal (and K, and Knight, and Pitino) are complicated. You take the good with the bad when there's more of the good. But it's possible that Cal has done things to other SEC teams that has created a delay in what should have been a slam dunk case.
Key word...possible.
