Since he had two NFL receivers and yet struggled to beat even weak teams, I think it says the QB throwing to them wasn’t that good.

Neyor is now multiple years removed from his leg injuries and is bouncing around trying to make a roster. I wouldn't get too excited yet. Was always an intriguing deep threat with his size/speed.

I don't think possibly being the 7th wr on an NFL roster 2 years removed from college really says anything about our qb.

I always thought NU's receivers caught too much flack for their inability to haul in Raiola's changeups and floaters, which often gave DBs a great shot at them or the ball.

That said, Key is probably headed for the Broncos' practice squad and I'll also be surprised if Neyor survives the final cut in Green Bay.

Other than Neyor not making the practice squad I agree with your post. The announcers talked up Neyor quite a bit and he played early and for a long time. They mentioned how GB always seems to find a WR overlooked by other teams to provide depth. They’re both obviously vying for roster spots but I’ll be surprised if they don’t make a practice squad. That’s a pretty good endorsement of their talent.

Oh yeah, Neyor will probably make the practice squad - just not the 53-man roster. He has a better chance of seeing game action than Key, who is buried under a bunch of WRs - including a couple of longtime Sean Payton favs.

They both got a lot of snaps in the first half. That’s about all an UDFA can ask for.

Qb was on track to break all qb passing records at NU...31 TDs, 4000 yards passing on 73% completion percentage. Dylan was a dufus, his family were cancerous but Rhule abandoned all principles to allow it happen. Can't blame a teenager who showed up every game, put up good stats, won 12 games.

From day 1 Rhule allowed his uncle to continue coaching at NU despite being the weakest coach on Frost's staff. Rhule then went public about him being a great recruiter and coach despite a complete lack of evidence, obviously lying to our faces literally in his first months. Fans ignored it, and ate it up when Dylan flipped to us, and ate it up when Dylan was a major improvement over the previous gaggle of qbs to fail at NU. And ate it up when he was compared to Mahomes. Obviously he was going to be impossible to coach because the head guy had bent over and taken it to allow his uncle to ruin the oline, while overpaying Dylan. Then Rhule acts like he was "fed up" with Dylan and his antics, when the antics were present from day 1.

The best outcome for him was to leave the comfort of the paycheck and nepotism, and to go be a backup at a really good program with a real coach. He did that, he made the right decision for himself, I wish NU would do the same.
