I heard on the radio today that there have been 15 1 seeds beat 16 seeds by single digits. All 15 of those 1 seeds went on to win the Natty. Is that true?

Not sure but I saw a stat where every one seed to advance to the championship game beat their first round opponent by 15 or more .

Looked it up- unlv did it in 1990 but that’s in. Most lost elite eight or sweet 16. 2 others made the championship and lost
