I seen the opposing team laying all over the field injured and in pain.
I haven't seen this all year.

Maybe that's why the IU coach was in tears after the game? He watched his son cheat death for more than three hours.

Very dominant, I mean you did put up 30 on a defense allowing 40plus to teams with a pulse this year. Better days are ahead though, Frost will have Nebraska back one of these days.

At least your offense is entertaining, we get to watch the horse pulling the plow formation every Saturday. Good luck the rest of way except for Black{and Gold} Friday of course.

When we stop turning the ball over and committing penalties then we’ll be getting closer to dominant. Dominant units never kill themselves.

He was referencing the half-dozen or more times Indiana players were "injured" every single time we tried to go up- tempo with the offense after a good play.

It's not illegal, some would call it good strategy.

My take:. If it's not going to be addressed, everyone should start doing it after any big play.

You really only need 2 or 3 guys in on it, at a position that has quality depth and you can sub for anyway in a first down situation.

Your team gets a free timeout, you get to sub in whoever you want on defense during the transition, and the penalty is only sitting one play for the guy that's "hurt".

If you can't beat em, join em. Enough teams do it, games will take 5 hours and the NCAA will address it.

To protect these young players, if injured bad enough to lay down they should miss the next 10 plays to ensure they are healthy enough to be back in the game.

.

I disagree. Wan’Dale would have missed the rest of the season after the Minnesota game.

The things that is tantalizing with the offense is what it shows when it is clicking. The other encouraging thing is seeing us click with multiple personnel groups and QBs. We NEED a lead dog at RB to complement Wandale and we need a big time WR who can get open. One penalty and ONE turnover cost us the game, Vedral's fumble was a 14 point swing and Williams' illegal formation penalty cost us 7 more. Really that was 21 points right there.

The fumble early in the 4th quarter was also huge. Huskers had a chance to put a game-tying drive together, but the next thing you know they are down by 14. Figured that would be too much of a hill to climb, and it was.

Fortunately I didn't get to listen to or watch the 4th quarter so I didn't see the 4th quarter fumble. Just as well. We put our D in a lot of bad positions and our field position sucked for lots of the game when we did get stops.

It's nothing short of cowardly and should be addressed by the NCAA. Player does that should be out the rest of the series. THEN we'll take see if it's such a sound strategy...

There should come a point for where you start getting charged timeouts for excessive "injuries". Or maybe something like the lost helmet rule that if you delay the game with an injury you have to sit out 15 minutes of game time
