Outside of Clemson they are stinking up the field for sure.

Yet all the pundits do is claim Clemson this and that.

If it were ie OU they would be saying that their conference is so weak its questionable whether they deserve a spot or not in the playoff.

They need to use Clemson's status to bring in eyeballs but they are not.
ESPN loves these superteams but they are bad for ratings. You need your Superteams to be challenged because some people have a dislike for those teams.

If I know my team is going to walk over a team I am not as interested in the game.

No doubt ACC is garbage this year. I would put them in the 4 hole this year so far.

SEC
Big Ten
Big12
ACC
PAC12

They are at the bottom.
PAC 12 is even better than the ACC. PAC 12 isn't top heavy but they have 5-6 teams who can compete for that 11-25 spots.

I think the ACC may have two Top 30 programs at the most.

Both conferences lack anything interesting going on.
Clemson is going to work on their team throughout the season. Someone may catch them but it doesn't look like it so far this season.

PAC 12 is just awful uninteresting football. Don't know why any top recruit would want to play there.

I would NOT put the Big Ten at number 2 above the Big XII.

The Big Ten has a high percentage of garbage teams at the bottom.

Three weeks in it is hard to judge how a conference will look at the end of the year. WVU was not the same team yesterday that they were the first two weeks of this season. There will be a few ACC teams that pick it up as the season goes on. Some teams that look great right now won’t look like so much at season’s end.

I hesitate to say any team or conference is this or that this early in the year, but clearly we can look at what is on the field and assess how teams look right now.
