He really is terrible. No idea how that guy was a four star.
Guthrie is a casualty of the bragging curse. When Rhule brags on you, it's not good. See: Sims, the D line, Ives, etc. Odd but true phenomenon.
Not gonna lie as soon as he starts bragging on someone I start having questions on just how good they are lol. It comes off as though he's trying to sell them to the fans. Problem is which apparently he hasn't learned yet is Nebraska fans remember and save all that **** in their memory like an elephant. They can't wait to bring it back out and throw it in your face when it doesn't go like he said. See "hell on wheels" defensive line comment.
I think Matt tries to speak it into existence sometimes and that hasn't worked. Better to under promise and over produce than the other way around lol.

Huskers had a freshmen DB Bly in on one of the short Utah TD runs. The staff has coached him up, well. He played his version of a matador just as well as the older players.
Is the DB coach really as good as Rhule seems to think he is?

No. He actually sucks ***. A .400 lifetime coach is not the best judge of talent, if you ask me. The dude can spit, though.
