SEC could stand to be a top3 conference this year, and yes, they could very well be the best conference. What will hurt is no elite teams. But not sure which conference will have 2 or more elite teams. ACC?

SEC and ACC are the only conferences with two top10 schools.

SEC has 4 in the top25
ACC has 5 in the top25.

I think it will be like 2010-2011 when they beat two top ten teams early on but faltered the rest of the season and were knocked out the first round as a nine seed.

Tennessee is ripe for the picking, I think this is a fluke.

He has a good point, though. Villanova is going to come down from being a top3 team over the last 2 years. It's inevitable. They are not as good as their ranking says.

Back to the SEC improving, I think my favorite part is that now these teams are playing well, not just for two games of the season, but for the entire season. It will be a harder road for Kentucky, sure.. But we were going to get their best version anyways.
