Coming from a UK fan.....LOL.
UK has a better program than Nebraska right now. They would beat the piss out of the Huskers.

If we cheated and paid players we could no doubt become a football program again. Even with Frost being a simple jack at OC.I know we are a basketball school...you guys need to accept that you are not a football school and haven’t been for a very long time.
You left out the damage Bill Jennings did to the program.Bad Coach... really? Scott has put in the work. How about you add...
*Inherited a **** Show that is a combo of Callahan destroying Tradition/Pelini’s inability to recruit in the BIG 10/ and Mike Riley (enough said). As frustrated as I was today there were some real glimmers of hope. Frost has some tough decisions to make on “O”, I’d expect to see more and more of the young guys start to take over the snap load.
No seriously, get corona.I know we are a basketball school...you guys need to accept that you are not a football school and haven’t been for a very long time.
True... Good point, what a train wreck he was, am I right? You left out the damage Bill Jennings did to the program.
Wandale bone your mom on the way to Lincoln or something?I know we are a basketball school...you guys need to accept that you are not a football school and haven’t been for a very long time.
No actual football related response? I get it, you know I’m right.Wandale bone your mom on the way to Lincoln or something?
If we are talking Wandale....why the F would he have went to Kentucky? He had way better options than Kentucky and Nebraska. No actual football related response? I get it, you know I’m right.

Hard to say, just know he is one of the poorest performing coaches in the nation.* snakebit?

We agree! If we are talking Wandale....why the F would he have went to Kentucky? He had way better options than Kentucky and Nebraska.
Could be right. IMO it’s three options,he is either crazy committed to Adrian and will not back down from it. Or AM is just better than Luke and Frost knows more than we do. However it is possible that AM is a better QB than Luke but Luke makes us a better team. I’m hoping for this option.IMO Frost's major mistake at Nebraska is that he was dazzled by Adrian's freshman season and now has hung on too long with Martinez thinking the QB would make a comeback and revert to freshman form. Apparently the freshman season was a fluke.

Wow... how do you REALLY feel?Frost has surrounded Martinez with poor talent and even shittier coaching. Frost should look in the mirror because he is by far our biggest issue.
Color me shocked if Luke can come in and light the world on fire having to battle Frost’s ineptitude and a WR core that wouldn’t cut it at Northwest Missouri St
Rutgers has had some wild trick plays though. If it’s any consolation, Ohio State is putting an even worse ***-whipping on Rutgers than they did NU. I feel like the Buckeyes could run the table this year drawing their starting lineup out of hat, the day before each game.
He's recruited good for a sorry *** losing program. How many 4 stars have left or not panned out ?RECRUITING! It’s been my biggest beef with him. He should be hauling in much better classes given his age and pedigree. He was the hot coach and should be making Nebraska the hot school. I looked a while back and we’re ranked around 20th in the country over the last 3-4 years in recruiting. That’s not going to get it in the long haul. We need a couple top 10 classes. Look at North Carolina. Sheesh, the guy is raking in major talent and he’s on social security for christ’s sake! Scott badly needs a few stud recruits to open the flood waters and wake the sleeping giant.
I don't agree that the team is devoid of talent. BUT it takes a QB to take advantage of that talent and that's our problem.Frost has surrounded Martinez with poor talent and even shittier coaching. Frost should look in the mirror because he is by far our biggest issue.

Your rhetoric is absurd. Not even worthy of a response and yet here I amFrost has surrounded Martinez with poor talent and even shittier coaching. Frost should look in the mirror because he is by far our biggest issue.

Yeah and they just kept working. I think Ohio State lost interest after halftime, which is probably Day's biggest challenge this season.Rutgers has had some wild trick plays though.
But maybe it's Lubick who's responsible for this mess of a passing game.Frost needs to relinquish the play calling and let Lubick run he show. How many times do you need to call a four yard pass play on third and ten to see it isn’t working? How many times do we need to get cute in the red zone instead of pounding it in the end zone? How many times do we need to play slow, hands of stone walk-ons over fast and talented young receivers with speed?
I hate to be the one to tell you but Nebraska’s “brand” deteriorated much longer than 3 years ago.I think Scott is trying to play in the shadow of TO, who of course is watching.
If he had this same opportunity somewhere else, he might be much further along.
It's as if he has 'ghosts here' and it interferes with his ability to see things clearly.
His stubbornness can be a strength, but also clearly is his weakness.
Nebraska's brand has deteriorated quickly the last 3 years.
That should be a big problem.
But maybe it's Lubick who's responsible for this mess of a passing game.
Yet, here you are.I hate to be the one to tell you but Nebraska’s “brand” deteriorated much longer than 3 years ago.

Loyalty seems to be a problem for some guys. I think it's a trait of honest Midwestern folks including me, but it can be a big roadblock to success in a competitive world. How often do the best college programs fire underperforming assistant coaches. Answer: a lot. How often do they replace underperforming players on the field. Answer is again: a lot. When guys just don't seem to be improving in the third year it's time to make a change. You also have to look at ceilings and potential. Is AM as good as we can expect him to be? It's starting to look that way. I was very excited about AM after his freshman season, disappointed last year, and this year is looking more like his sophomore year than freshman year. Could the receivers be better? Absolutely. But the blocking is better this year too.* snakebit?

To me, QB is the biggest problem. Martinez threw some good passes but many more bad ones, especially in the red zone.Hindsight is 20/20, if it's true Joe burrow wanted to come here and we didn't take him, what a whiff. Obviously Burrows decision was brilliant and has paid off beautifully.
Callahan would have brought in anyone he thought could get the job done.
Frost went all-in with 2AM and it has not worked out. He's struggling because he doesn't have the right quarterback to run his offense. It's always a gamble.
The brain trust logic is that if the QB can't pass you might as well have the walk on WR's on the field. That way at least the talented WR's won't get hurt while trying to stretch out for an errant pass because they'll be sitting safe on the bench. WinkingBut maybe it's Lubick who's responsible for this mess of a passing game.
I see more upside with Luke McCaffrey. More than just a spark. Better passer, Quicker Reads, More decisive than AM. Should be starting going forward imo.Hindsight is 20/20, if it's true Joe burrow wanted to come here and we didn't take him, what a whiff.
