Is our Friday Night Starter a Friday Night Starter?

[Willow Grove Dawg]

This was not even on my radar as a potential issue preseason!

[PearlRiverCoDawg]

He has looked horrible as of late.

[M R DAWGS]

Our 3 supposed starting pitchers aren’t living up to the hype.

[missouridawg]

Sims, Smith, Bednar by SEC play.

[karlchilders.sixpack]

Need to put him back out there part of Sunday.

Looks like he needs the game time.

[PearlRiverCoDawg]

And to top it off we can’t do anything against a teams Friday night starter.

[thekimmer]

That was a stinker alright...

This was not even on my radar as a potential issue preseason!

Had some tough luck with infield hits but walked three gave up a HR and an error in less than 2 innings. Ugh

[M R DAWGS]

So far, our hitting has sucked

[Dawgbite]

We can’t keep playing from behind or it’s going to be a long year.

[bulldogcountry1]

We might end up in Omaha, but we don’t look the part in any phase of the game. If you want to break it out into starting pitching and relief pitching, I will say our relief pitching has been pretty good. Tanner is a weapon behind the plate, but everything else is average at best.

[Uncle Ruckus]

Been getting a lot of Ks from the pen the last couple games though

[deltadawg63]

If you noticed, when Lemonis went out to pull him, he waved the infield back away; that meant he was pissed at MacLeod and didn’t want them to hear his cussing of him.

35 K's as a team in the last two games and Sims didn't pitch in either of them. That will do just fine.
