Is LaVar calling out Jay?

Yes. But think he means ‘antagonist’.
He called him a wolf in sheep’s clothing which is pretty telling. He called him entitled also. I’ll never forget Mike Mauti’s quote about Jay. “That dude is an example of everything a coach should not be”. Mauti also has called Jay toxic and accused him of trying to undermine NIL fundraising.

Does anybody know what LaVar is referring to? Was there a specific incident recently with Jay that ticked LaVar off? Is it regarding the coaching search?

Hate to beat a dead horse, but could it be related to the Alamo Bowl/Kevin Thompson incident?? Some people have loooong memories.
I can’t imagine being on that team like Lavar was and forgetting about Jay’s role in that. Awful form.

Is Jay undermining the coaching search and trying to influence Kraft? I’m just connecting the dots here based on timeframe. Maybe I’m way off?
Don't know but to me Jay has always been the intitled disgruntled employee. So far as I know on the coaching staff at the time, he had one friend aside from his father and that to this day is Bradley.

I imagine there may be as many as 4 or 5 separate savants on the BOT - all of whom think it would be appropriate for them to dunk their sagacious fingers into the punch bowl. None of whom have any business being within 1,000 nautical miles of the decision. That said, I would be surprised if they DON'T stick their noses in.

On the other hand, there is one BOT member who likely has some experience, insights, and (maybe) some useful communication channels that could possibly be beneficial ..... but I would be very surprised if he interfered in any way (and I don't think he should, and obviously should not be tipping the scales in any way wrt who is considered for the position)

Aside from honoring their fiduciary duties to contest or oppose any unwise contracts PSU might consider entering into, and to support those they feel are prudent, there should be zero interference from the BOT.

But that is not the way it will work out... and it will fall on Pat Kraft to either competently perform the job functions he is paid (lavishly) to conduct, or to trip over his own feet in the process, or to be pinata-ed around by the carnival. Obviously.

It is what it is. Time will tell.

Didn't everybody.
Wellll to be honest, it was as good if not better than the last 3 OC's we've had. 🤷‍♂️
Also Daryl Clark would have been very good in this offense and if we could have just 1 of those 3 WR's.

Rumor was that the reason Kevin Thompson's hand was broken in the bowl game is that he punched Jay out with it.
I always hoped it was true.
Uncle b, please tell us about Kerry’s volleyball injury. Pretty please?

Serious question... what does Jay do for income? Is he technically retired? Is he a trust funder?
