Glad to see IU is always on Kentucky fans’ minds.
The only time it is involves when one of your meth head fans come over here pretending to be a UK fan. IU has been trash for the past 30 years. Butler, Purdue and Notre Dame have surpassed IU in relevance in the state of Indiana.

listen - we seen #1. My brother seems to think Indiana is on the precipice of glory - thoughts on Archie?

Archie Miller is in his 7th year of coaching. In only 2 of those years has he made the tournament and won a game.

His highest KenPom finish ever is 38th.

This Indiana team is loaded with highly ranked recruits and still turns the ball over at will and has spotty shooting. They don't look like a well coached team.

Its likely Archie is a worse coach than Crean. Theres nothing to be worried about with him.

IU has fallen into the depths of mediocrity, they aren't even the most elite program in their own conference anymore. It's sad really.

Current Big Ten teams that have won a title since IU

Michigan (1989)
Michigan State (2000)
Maryland (2002) - the most recent current B10 national champion, and the most recent trip to the final four for IU.

They have only 8 final fours in their history.
They aren't in the top 10 in all-time wins.
They aren't even close to the top 10 in winning percentage.

They simply aren't elite, and have no business calling themselves a blueblood.

Duke has taken their place as the fifth blueblood.

I have a much longer drawn out post referencing this but in the brief 20 ish year history of the big ten tournament, Indiana has the second worst record of original conference teams all time. Only Northwestern has a worse record in the tournament and it’s close.

Obviously this is not the biggest barometer to measure a program’s success but that shows just how hard they have fallen the last 20 years. They have very little post season success in their own conference.

Hopefully they lose on the road to Rutgers because they absolutely will lose the game after @ MSU. Watching their boards melt down is fun

What does your brother think now, after a 7th straight loss to a bad Rutgers team? I really doubt that many people would think that 12-9 and 3-7 in the Big 10 is on the precipice of glory. It is on the precipice and Mich St will give them the final shove, this Saturday. While we wait, tell your brother he needs to reevaluate his prognostication skills. As for my thoughts on Archie, I really think IU deserves him.

Now, now guys. Be kinder to our Hoosier neighbors. After all, if Indiana didn't suck so hard, we would fall down into Tennessee.
Nope, we’re a rock but indiana does suck so hard they have apparently sucked utjr up a little.

The last time you won a title Cell phones weren’t invented and AIDS was barely a thing in the United States
Well, this does line up. I've been building cell phone towers since 1988.
But I think cell phones were invented in the mid 70's.
We just won't tell IU fans that. They all probably have bag phones anyway.

Some dumb hoosier (yea, I live there, I see them every day) pointed out that we are cheaters. I replied:
You may not like UK, which is your right, but when was the last time they received major sanctions from the NCAA? (Answer: 1989) When was the last time your program got major sanctions from the NCAA? (Answer: 2008)

Now, I know what you are thinking: "But Kentucky cheats all of the time and doesn't get caught." Well, sir, I would invite you take whatever evidence you have to 700 W. Washington St in Indianapolis (NCAA HQ).

Actually they had been invented. They were the size and weight of a brick, and no one had them. I get your point though. It’s been a very long time since IU was relevant. A very long time. I was in my 20’s.

I knew IU would pull it together when Kentucky needed them to. Nice work, Hoosiers. Now, back to losing for you.

Yeah, IU is on the precipice. They just stufck their nose up over the edge, and now they are going to continue their fall to the bottom of the precipice, like Wile E. Coyote..
