I would have Jim Platt as interim. No need to punish Shea like we did Pooh.

Just as bad as Phillips’ last year but John had integrity and honored his media commitments
I’ve lost respect for Haith who I formerly considered a gentleman

What a coward! At least idiot Penny can sack up and take questions regardless how juvenile the answers out of his mouth might be.

Yes. JP was a placeholder hire that honestly served 1 purpose: prevent a mass exodus of talented players.. no one expected him to succeed.

Haith was a National Coach of the Year with a P5 pedigree.

Phillips won two NCAA tournament games with the talent he inherited. After they left, there was a swift decline.

Haith has one NCAA tournament appearance and one NIT win with the talent he inherited. After they left, there was a slow, gradual decline. The 2019-20 season gaves us some hope, but the last two seasons have produced another swift decline.

Even if TU cuts Haith loose after this season (and I really expect them to do so), the program is going to have a pretty steep rebuild curve. TU needs to find a coach with the energy and drive to do it.

The good news is that basketball teams can be remade in a couple of years with good recruiting and the portal. And foreign players. All it takes is charismatic coaches who work hard and know how to win.
