Dak hits a great throw to Gallup. Aikman "This is where they failed to connect last year."

Dak completes two straight slants, both times Aikman makes sure to mention the ball was "a little behind" the receiver.

Maybe he's trying to seem unbiased but I can't be the only one to notice.

Aikman has always seemed like a bitter prick to me. As a Saints fan, I hate it when he calls their games because he’s almost dismissive of Drew Brees. He used to talk mad **** about Romo too.

So with a local audience he's a homer, but on the national broadcast he does as cookie describes... never knew he had a Dallas radio show, that's cool. It's always felt like he goes out of his way to deride the cowboys but he has gotten softer over time.

He's been praising him but he tells it like it is too, those balls were definitely thrown behind the receivers. He's critical of most QBs

He definitely does some nitpicking, but I’ve come to accept that it’s the nature of the beast when you have a hall of fame QB calling a game. He’s also given Dak quite a bit of praise at times today, so it is what it is I guess

He probably doesn’t have much choice when a guy is playing with a 158 Passer rating. Lol
