I deleted it because two wrongs don’t make a right. I’m just getting sick and tired of seeing people hate on these kids for doing exactly what their hypocritical asses would do. Maybe it’s best I take a break myself from this board.
OK. See ya. Take care!

I have a place at Nolin but I know what your talking about. :)

Man, there was a store at a crossroads between e'town and Leitchfield that made the best black peppered ham sandwich I ever had. (Can't remember the name of that place or little town but it was a good stop.)(Maybe Cecilia? I will have to look on a map now.)(Maybe Big Clifty or Eastview. I am thinking Eastview...)

Hmmm, there's one exit outside of E-Town then one exit in the middle (Between E-Town and Leitchfeild) before you hit the Clarkson exit just before Leitchfeild.

You're off my route then...

Just about sure it was Eastview. The road split and the store was in the split. Nice people. I stopped in that store for many years. Even did some free work for them. They were good to me. Now you are going to get me to look it up on Google earth.;)

Yeah, cause you had to buy those cars out of your own money. And they abandoned you personally. And you you are owed cause you the you deserve something.

This is utterly childish. Embarrassing to see a Kentucky fan post this kind of drivel. Grow up for Pete’s sake.
There was a time we had a small dispute. Don’t remember what it was over, but I will say I couldn’t agree more with you. I’ll never understand how miserable one must be to hate on these young kids for literally doing NOTHING wrong.

Remember, it was a mom and pop type store and that was between 1987 or so and 2001....
I'm betting it's still there. Good places like that tend to stick around. It's like "Frank's" in Louisville. It's been there forever for a reason. :)

What really gets my goat is knowing the ones whining would do EXACTLY the same thing the kids are doing in similar circumstances. These are just petty individuals. An embarrassment to the fan base.

It is Eastview. I looked it up on Google earth. There are a couple gas stations there now too. The store looks empty. The couple was about my age now. A good memory anyway. Thanks

They earned it. They are right outside of the lottery who wouldn't do the same at 18-19. They don't owe us anything. They announced they were entering and we knew they were probably gone. Was probably a big moment for them and then they announced the following day. It doesn't bother me. They are kids that have busted their asses and are having a little fun.
I’m curious as to what you consider “right outside” the Lottery. If that somehow happens, these decisions made sense. But, everyone who plans to declare (college/foreign), has yet to. I’m just saying...

I still may check it out. I like to get off the main road and check out small towns.

...autograph signing tour Keldon and Tyler are going on?

I know I am. I was also very happy to see them posting pictures of buying expensive cars BEFORE announcing they were staying in the draft.

And now they get to go make money off of those same fans they gave a big middle finger to with those pics they posted.

Really nice considering all they accomplished in the 7 months they were here.

Oh well. I think I’ll catch you UK football fans on Wildcat Lair in a couple of months when football is about to rev up. I think I’m done on Rafters until October. Adious Basketball only fans.
Good bye Kev. Enjoyed talking to you.

It's kinda messed up that only 1 person from the group stepped in and tried to save Kev. Where was S&C and Frank, he always has y'alls back.

Oh well, maybe they're waiting for the overly dramatic apology that inevitably comes after these meltdowns.

I really enjoyed driving around the back roads. I had a lot of customers and would stop in unannounced to check on them. (Hard to do that anymore. It was enjoyable then.) I got a cup of coffee and fed many many times. I even had keys to four or five ponds in different towns and could fish for cat and bass anytime night or day. It was an enjoyable time.

And ultimately that’s where the ops actual frustration lies. If herro and Johnson were coming back he and many would have a love fest going on. The frustration is directed at the players bc what cbb has become there is no other place to direct the disgust of watching players leave after 1 year especially guys who could comeback and enhance their stock.

I don’t think anyone blames the kids for leaving to get paid. At the same time though we are fans of uk sports going back decades. Some before these kids parents were even born. Cal has to figure a way to honor the sacrifice of lifetime fans who are not only title fans but also fans of watching player development. The deal we made was you bring in OAD and win titles and we will be happy. Not you bring in OAD late first rd OAD, flame out in the tournament and we will be happy. Please don’t tell me about elite 8s every coach we’ve had that wasn’t an alcoholic made their fair share of elite 8s. Some how cal has to fill the void of losing guys after one year and massive roster turnover. He has to do it by winning a couple more Titles in order to do that he needs to make some big changes.
The deal you made. I didn't realize Cal made a deal with you. Was it in writing? I remember Cal saying he was going to recruit the best players he can. He seems to be doing that. Get a life.

That's why I still love small town America. [thumb2]

I love these guys even more knowing they have caused so many of you such unhappiness and bitterness. They can definitely afford these nice rides seeing as they are obviously living in many of your guys heads rent free.

Congrats Keldon and Tyler, you earned it! Enjoy a wonderful and successful life and don't concern yourself with the opinions of sheep.

Good post. We have lunatics that take it personal when a kid they don't even know secures his future before blowing a knee out. Sick people.
