They’ve gotten a quarter century plus worth of mileage out of that one game. It’s simply astounding.
Be interesting to see a chart of technicals per year over the last 20 years for the top college coaches.
I can't figure out why the media keeps praising him even after all these little clips show people he's just a Krybaby punk. I don't care what his record is or anything else, it's how he really is vs the way he is perceived. Cal is ten times the gentleman K acts like he is. You see winning makes some people look the other way, like Bobby Knight and his idiot ways. Dean Smith and his cheating ways and lying too. Robey said about Smith-
"On that Kuester foul, Coach Smith came up to me and called me 'a cheap son of a b----,'" Robey said. "He said, 'All you do is throw elbows.' I told him to look at the films and show me where I ever threw an elbow meaning to hit somebody."
When Smith met the press after the game, he denied that he cursed at Robey. "I did not swear. I do not swear. Every other bad habit, I have, but I don't swear," Smith said. "I was badly misquoted". I don't ever remember Cal saying anything to another player like that and Knight hit Joe B in the head with a program, their temper was like a babies and they couldn't stand Kentucky or losing to them.
