We will know within a week for sure. I think we will know one way or another on Wed. That's my guess. OFC

It is extremely rare for a lottery pick to improve their stock.

The rare times it does happen is when they end up getting a bigger role in the offense...which seems unlikely next season.

Duke would be more talented however

Or we let the kid decide and support whatever decision he makes. We all make decisions in life and must live with those decisions. It is also a big part of growing up. Wendell gave us his all for a year, he owes us no more. If he decides to come back, pop the bottles, he is going to make us a lot stronger next year. If he decides to go, go get that money kid. These are the most frustrating discussions to have because we should have zero say in it and frankly we don’t have a single clue what is best for him and what is not. Who are we to say what is right and wrong? A bunch of college hoops fans that flamed out in their own athletic careers a long time ago. When it is time he’ll make his decision and I’ll support whatever decision that is.

He's announcing his decision tomorrow at noon ET. WC - please go pro. A lottery pick coming back hardly ever works out.

Worked out pretty well for Tim Duncan. Turned down a chance to maybe be the first pick after his sophomore and after his junior season. He ended up playing 19 years w the Spurs.
Being a young millionaire and probably being drafted by a poor Knicks team or being a sophomore at Duke may be a hard decision for him. Who knows if he stays another year the Celtics could use one of their stashed picks and take him as a younger version of Hortford.

I feel like if he’s announcing on ESPN, more than likely he’s going to announce for the draft. Hope that’s not the case.
