His mom did an interview with a local affiliate in Raleigh before the Kansas game. It was aired during halftime of the Kansas/Duke game. She talked about how important he valued his education, that he loved Duke, and wanted to get his education. Many said and say that he can get his degree in the league. Which is very very true but the way she said it and why she answered that way still has me scratching my head.

Didn’t she release an article last week despising college basketball and the NCAA?
I think one of her quotes was,” I told Wendell that college was a business decision and not to get caught up in it for one year!” Or something to that extent. So if from which article does he,” listen to momma”?
I think he’s delaying his decision just to save face from the article that was published. His mother was very direct about her discontent for the NCAA and college basketball.

Either way the kid is gone and I wish him nothing but the best really liked his game and how he carried his self on the court.
