He's not going to be able to compete for top flight transfers.
Is he planning an exit strategy? He might negotiate a smaller but still substantial buyout and head for the door like Tubby did.
Remember, Wright just retired, likely because he saw this coming and wanted his legacy preserved. So did K and Roy. Can Cal work through the frustration he's about to endure?
EDIT: It's been brought to my attention that the NIL is not paid or authorized by the University, so why would Cal even mention this?
