He showed his capability when he was motivated and actually mentality engaged in the Oklahoma games which made it all the more frustrating to watch his typical performances.Id rather have no PF/C than have BG. He was one of the more frustrating players, extremely low IQ. He wasnt going to do anything for us anyways
I don't know if it was lack of BB IQ or just a lack of focus. It was very frustrating to know he actually had the talent to be a good player.Id rather have no PF/C than have BG. He was one of the more frustrating players, extremely low IQ. He wasnt going to do anything for us anyways
I‘m glad we’re done with Cal regardless, though he was at his core a glorified social worker and absolutely couldn’t give two flying F’s about the fanbase, the university or the state, good riddance.
I wish people would stop being too lazy to type out a persons full name. I have to spend 20 minutes trying to figure out who they are referring to.I’m rooting for Billy Gillespie in his future endeavors. Wait, are we talking about Garrison? I think I feel about the same for both BG’s!
Alabama isn't though. They actually recruited and landed players. He's like playing with house money for them. Oates will coach him differently and probably get better results. Kinda like when he kicks Pope's *** every game.Any team relying on BG has a hard cap on how successful they can expect to be. Just too inconsistent.
I was shocked that Pope tried so hard to play him at the four with another big. It’s the reason why I sort of doubt our season would’ve been much better had JQ played, Pope kept trying to play him and BG together. My best guess is he correctly perceived the direction CBB was going last season with the emphasis on big lineups and tried to do that with the team he had. That plus our PFs were fairly disappointing. But, yeah, I think that experiment was doomed.
Drove me KRAZZEE too .I‘d rather have AARON BRADSHAW again than BG .Id rather have no PF/C than have BG. He was one of the more frustrating players, extremely low IQ. He wasnt going to do anything for us anyways
Totally agree, I said when he committed I think it’s the perfect fit for him. Oats’ offense is efficient, but not particularly complicated, especially for the big men. Set screens, roll for lobs, occasional pick and pop. The guards do the heavy lifting for Oats, whereas Pope likes his big men to orchestrate the offense. I think BG will have a good season.Alabama isn't though. They actually recruited and landed players. He's like playing with house money for them.
