I would agree but the rules changing and the pass interference calls need to be handled. NBA doesn't have a huge question mark over it like NFL does with tackling preferences. Love the NFL too. Both are great

Definitely. I was really looking forward to the playoffs this year because so much was so open and we had so many new look teams hoping to make a run.
You have mentioned how dissatisfied you are with Cal and the UK program several times. Please tell me how Cal needs to change. Quit recruiting top players and hope they stay 4 years. That will never happen with the NCAA transfer rules. Johnny Juzang is a good example. It is not Cal's fault. It is the fault of the NCAA, NBA and players.
i love the nba. my favorite pro sport and was excited to watch the playoffs. the most wide open i can remember. since maybe the 2003-04 season?

Look man, if you are looking for an argument, I'm not gonna bite. I never said a word about Cal. College basketball has so many problems that it has turned me off. Selective enforcement of rules on certain schools, while letting others do whatever they like has gotten out of hand. Crooked officiating is another issue. The constant turnover of rosters has grown old. It's a number of things. I never said I wanted anyone to replace your hero.

Not sure I understand the connection with players being paid. But, my view is that college for the majority of elite athletes, that they are student/athletes, is a farce. Been that way for a long time. I would encourage anybody to do what they think is best for them and for an elite athlete who wants to skip college and make money off his ability more power to them. But I do understand your point about hypocrisy. We are all guilty of that particular fault and unfortunately, we chaplains/pastors/churches have often been the most blind to that sin and it is glaringly obvious to others. In any case, we all have to choose/be selective about which examples of hypocrisy is over the top. For me, the SJWs in the NBA who then threw the Hong Kong folks under the bus was too much.

Yep. I usually watch good matchups, when two playoff type teams play. I also watch the entirety of the playoffs. I would probably watch church league at this point, if it were televised.
Nope, didn't watch any regular season games and only check in on some playoff games if UK guys or the Celtics are in it. Otherwise, no interest in the NBA these days. Couldn't get enough of it when I was a kid and memorized players and stats and all sorts of useless info. But, quit paying attention or watching it years ago now. If it were the only game on now I would probably watch some but just prefer college sports these days.
You got that **** right. There are a lot of unhinged people out there. I really don't care for any sports outside of football, baseball and basketball, but certainly don't begrudge anyone who follows other sports. BTW, love the NBA and have been watching replays on NBA TV. They're the best basketball players on the planet.
Wouldn't bother me if it somehow went out of business. The more we have to deal with guys leaving early to go undrafted the more I hate the NBA. College basketball is being ruined because of them. I am heading for giving up on college as well if things don't change.
As bad as I miss sports in general, this is a dead period to me regardless other than golf. If NBA game was being played tonight I’d just sit on the couch with my wife and watch 90 day fiancé or some crap like that. That’s how much I loathe the NBA.
I miss it . The NBA is way more enjoyable to watch than college basketball . I still don’t get how some prefer college basketball . Outside of watching Kentucky it’s terrible .

The NBA was on a slide this year, with many games on national TV having less than a million viewers. That's pretty embarrassing. So, I guess there could be a few people miss it, but very few.
Eh only baby boomers still have cable for the most part. Attendance is up, league pass viewership is up, socials media interactions is sky rocketing. NBA just needs to work on a different monetization strategy before the next TV deal.
