Look at these highlights. So effortless. It almost like he's playing in slow motion. He continues to dominate night in and night out. It's like he's just bored out there because it comes so easily to him. Also, Pels have won 9 in a row. Can't wait to see this dude in the playoffs.

Imagine the publicity he would get putting up those kinds of numbers if the media wasn't so enamored with Lebron, the Warriors and James Hardin. Every move Hardin does is tweeted out by ESPN and if Lebron announces he had a soft bowl movement after eating too much fiber it is all over ever media outlet.

And he’s told to “keep speaking out.”

I don’t think I’ve heard him say one thing in 15 years that moved the needle for me.

In my lifetime only David Robinson, Shaq, Tim Duncan & LeBron are better #1 Overall picks. And I would assume AD moves past a few of those guys when it's all said and done. What do all of those guys have that AD does not? Rings. New Orleans has to continue building around Davis or else he's going to move on to a real contender. He and Boogie will eventually get tired of not being a playoff threat, despite each of them putting up video game numbers.

And DMC was playing even better than AD was at the time. And he got zero love. You have some douchbag like Embid always saying dumbshit on twiter and stuff keeping his name out there. AD just puts in work and cracks skulls.

Remember back around the time he was drafted. Every time I see that Davis has done something great, I think about all those reporters and people that said to pump the brakes on his ambition.

“[Kobe]’s a monster. So I just want to go out there and play my hardest," Davis said Thursday on the "Dan Patrick Show." There’s a lot of guys that can’t stop Kobe. So if I stop him I could be one of the guys that say, ‘I shut Kobe down’.”

"Woah, woah, woah there, kiddo.

Let's try adjusting your lithe frame to the rigors of banging with Kevin Garnett, Dwight Howard, and Andrew Bynum first. Let's try learning about rotations and hedging on the pick and roll first. Let's try leaning how to react and respond, how to attack, and how to go against guys who were all the best players on their college teams.

Then, we can talk about challenging one of the best players of the past decade, a Hall-of-Famer who has destroyed defenses night in and night out for years." - Matt Moore, CBS article

No, he was not playing better than AD.

Missed shots count, turnovers count, bad defense counts.

Wow what kinda Beeyatch wrote that article I mean wow! Who would even want an athlete who wouldn't have answered it exactly how AD did. Showed respect to the hall of fame Bryant and still didn't back down from the challenge of being great yourself. Quote from the Movie Troy. Boy to Achilles "the man your to fight is the largest man I have ever seen. I wouldn't want to fight him" Achilles to the boy "that is why no one will remember your name"

All players who have high usage have high TO count. He was with out a shadow of doubt having MVP season. Both are and were. Both HOF types.
AD is averaging 2.1 TO's per game. Cousins was at 5. I'll cut him some slack on that, because NO was running a ton of offense through him (thus the impressive 5.4 assist per game), but Boogie has ALWAYS been among the league leaders in TO's.

AD is shooting 53.6%, Cousins was at 47 (actually an improvement on his career average, but not good for a big guy). And again, I'll cut him some slack, because he was taking a lot of 3's and hitting them at a decent rate.

And defensively? AD vs Cousins? I think we know.

The point isn't that Cousins is bad. He's really, really good. The point is that claiming he was AD's equal is just wrong. It's not a complete coincidence that the Pelicans have been able to improve despite Cousins being out. It gives AD more room to show the full array of his skills, and let's everyone else on NO play off him.

Harden may win the MVP by acclimation ... but not all that far behind him are AD and The Freak with some pretty amazing seasons.

I always found it funny people always left this dude out of discussion of top players.

Continue this the rest of the season, and then do it next season. He'll be MVP. Hopefully no injury bug.

Amount of offense this guy has added is insane.

I dare anyone to watch these highlights and tell me that Issel was better player than AD. You must be kidding. If AD had played 3 years at UK after playing one year on the freshmen team, he would have been the most dominant player in the history of CBB. He was a 6'11'' version of Bill Russel with a far better offensive skill set. In fact, his offensive skills dwarf Bill Russel's. Don't give me this nonsense that Issel was a better college player either. Also, the athletes in the SEC were ten times better in 2012 than in 1968-70 when Issel played. I don't think it's even close.

A major crisis might have just been avoided in Sacramento. AD just rolled his ankle pretty severely. Let's hope it's just a sprain and nothing serious if anything at all. Pels are going for 10th win in a row and are leading 81-63 with 1:30 to go in the 3rd.

He is having MRI today... and from all accounts it does not look too bad , but bad enough to miss more than a couple of games which will destroy their momentum!

Best player to ever wear a UK uniform, IMO.
I agree. Can you imagine what he would have been like if Cal had "turned him loose". He seldom took more than 10 shots a game. I am amazed at what he has become in the NBA and he is making it look so easy but he worked hard to get there.
